Applicants must be in possession of a BTech: Chemistry degree or equivalent qualification.

The course is designed to follow on from the B. Tech: Chemistry. It is an advanced course aimed at supplementing the in-depth education in the different aspects of chemistry and modern instrumental analysis offered by the study for the degree of B. Tech. The main objective of this course is to provide an opportunity for students to apply fundamental principles of chemistry to the solution of problems in Chemistry and Applied Chemistry.

This will include the ability to make an informed decision on the choice of method or instrument for solving a given problem, the communication of ideas and results of scientific investigations and the use of scientific literature.
