DOUBLE WIN FOR DUT AT MACE 2016

DOUBLE WIN FOR DUT AT MACE 2016

The Durban University of Technology won two MACE Awards at the annual Marketing, Advancement, Communication in Education Conference and AGM in Durbanville last week.

DUT, who have won more than 23 MACE Awards in the last three years, was nominated in eight categories. The judges recognized DUT’s excellence in the Multi-Day Events category by successfully hosting the 2016 DUT Open Week, that attracted more than 18000 high school learners this year. The second award was in the category of Community and Social Responsibility Projects. Once again, the DUT Art and Human Rights School Workshop received the award in this category.

MACE is an organization that represents all 26 universities in South Africa and its membership also includes TVETs and private colleges too.
