The Durban University of Technology has invited High Schools and Principals to their 2017 Open week.
Every year the University schedules a week where pupils from different high schools in and around KwaZulu-Natal come to the University to seek information about the different faculties, departments and course offered at DUT.
Alex Mdletshe, Manager at Student Recruitment said this year DUT is expecting over 20 000 learners to be part of the open week. “Our open week assists learners in making informed career choices and exposes them to information that they might have overlooked when deciding on what to do after they have left High School,” he said.
Open week is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, 17 May 2017 to Saturday, 20 May 2017 at the Fred Crookes Sports Centre, Steve Biko Campus, Durban.
“Our various academic departments will be showcasing their activities and will be available to assist answering questions from both the scholars and their educators,” added Mdletshe. The three days from the 17 to 19th May 2017 are for school groups, and, Saturday, 20 May is allocated to the general public.
