Online Student Registrations On Track

With registrations taking place at the various faculties at DUT, the registration process the University has become much easier as students are able to register at the comfort of their homes via online.

The online registration process is an effective way to escape registration queues. In order to register for online registrations, first year students must have paid their tuition fee down-payment, submitted the required documentation and have received a firm offer from the students admission based on their final examination results.

Returning students must have settled their fees from the previous year, paid the required registration fee, submitted all the required documentation and fulfilled the requirements for promotion to the next level of study.

“The online registration process has saved me a lot of time.I give it a thumbs up because it’s simple and easy,” said Sanelisiwe Mthalane, a returning Photography student.

“The staff was also very friendly and helped me understand the whole process,” said Ntando Chilliza, a first-year Graphic Design student.

Student Orientation helper at the DUT, Pearl Shozi, added that the online registration process not only saves time but also cuts a lot of cost for students, especially for those who come from as far as the Eastern Cape and Swaziland. “I am really thrilled and excited that I can now move into residence because everything gets approved quickly online and it saves us the hassle of having to worry about where we are going to sleep whilst we are waiting for a response,” reiterated Sanelisiwe Mthalane a returning Photography student.

Late registrations are open from 21 January 2016 to 4 February 2016.
