She is excited to be the ambassador of all tertiary institutions in South Africa. She says public speaking and knowledge of her institution were key factors in her success. They were required to visit local schools and speak to learners about their institutions as part of the pre-screening process.

Marcia received a bursary prize of R10 000 which she is going to use to pay her fees. She was further awarded a modeling contract with Promodel, a Protea Hotel voucher for two nights, a Spar Treatment voucher of R1000, a Chocolate voucher, Gym contract with Plant Fitness and a Clothing voucher. Previously modeling for The Cast, she now works with Promodel Agency. She is proud to be the first Queen of Mzansi Higher Education in South Africa, but adds that “it comes with lots of benefits and exciting challenges”.

In pursuit of her career she is interested in doing business and theatre, which is entertainment business. She also runs her own company called Justripe, which specializes in dance and promotions.
