Extraordinary radiography student qualifies with merit

Kelly Fuller is not just a qualified radiographer but an exceptional student. Having completed her National Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography with distinction, she will be receiving the Dean’s Merit Award for excellent performance at Durban University of Technology’s graduation ceremony on 18 April at 5pm .

Fuller is currently completing a year’s community service at Emmaus Hospital, in a rural community in Drakensberg. Upon completion of her Work Integrated Learning (WIL) she intends on registering for post graduate studies on a part time basis to further her career. She said: “I am honoured to be the recipient of such a prestigious award. I feel that this award is a reflection of all the hard work and effort I put into my studies over three years. It demonstrates that you reap what you sow and I feel I am deserving of such an award,”. Fuller believes the secret of her success lies in hard work, perseverance, endurance, good time management, confidence in herself as well as having a well balanced, holistic approach to life and studies
