STUDENT PROTESTS

Media Statement from the Durban University of Technology (DUT) On Student Protests.

As a result of disruptions experienced today, Management at the Durban University of Technology (DUT) have temporary suspended registration and all related processes with immediate effect, registration will resume on Monday, 25 January 2010.

Management is concerned about the safety of staff, students, parents and university property and will engage in negotiations with the SRC to find solutions on issues raised by students.
