Time Allocation
Presenters of oral presentations will be allowed 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion and questions from the audience. Presenters are kindly requested to observe these time limits, since delegates would be moving between venues during talks.
Audio Visual Information
The recommended format is Microsoft PowerPoint. Compatible presentation program outputs must be saved in the MS Powerpoint format. Data projection from an MS Windows operating system computer will be the only available visual aid.
Submission of Presentations
The presentations will be uploaded on Sunday, 17th January in the audiovisual room. Please ask at the main desk for directions to the audiovisual room. The organisers will verify the compatibility of presentations with the available system and slides could also be inspected in the audiovisual preview room. Please name files as follows: <surname initials.ppt(x)>. We suggest that presenters also carry a backup on CD-ROM or USB storage device. To save time and avoid problems with compatibility, we discourage the use of personal computers for projection. Slide shows must be finalised at least 4 hours before the presentation to allow sufficient time for compilation and uploading of files by the AV team.
At the Congress
Presenters must please:
Verify the compatibility of their presentations with the conference system and confirm with the AV team.
Introduce themselves to the session chairperson as early in the conference as possible.
Confirm their readiness in the break immediately prior to their session.
Familiarise themselves with the audio-visual equipment including pointers that will also control slide progression.
