Shange Makes “Win a Home” Top 3

DUT’s Interior Design graduate, Sifiso Shange’s deep passion for design, art and creativity has landed him in the top three of the “Win a home” Club Culture competition on SABC.

The 24 year old Durbanite was chosen last week after his individual designs in the competition kept winning. At the beginning, the competition consisted of 14 top creatives around South Africa. As the weeks went by, these creatives were split into groups of four where they were given room challenges and individual challenges which when won, gave immunity. The challenges carried on until last week, where the final three were chosen.

Commenting about one of Shange’s individual designs, Simon Bray, Chief Executive Officer at Private Property, said, “Sifiso is a charismatic presenter who adds a lot of energy and excitement to his presentation and designs.”

In his designs, Shange uses his aspiration as an interior designer by making beautiful and earth-friendly designs. “This competition is a great platform for me to showcase my deep passion for design, art and creativity. I am highly motivated by greatness and positivity. My career and I are closely aligned as I live a life inspired by creativity,” said Shange.

In the show’s episodes, Shange is seen working late nights and early mornings. Along with the other creatives, he moves from room to room passionately aiming to create beautiful, liveable spaces and rooms for that dream home.

Shange will know his fate on Friday, 13 November 2015, during the final show which will be aired on SABC 3 at 19h30 with a repeat on Saturday at 16h30. Shange and the other three finalists will be judged by a panel of experienced judges in the interior design and property industry to make a final verdict. The winner will walk away with the prize of R100 000.
