The Durban University of Technology is aware that NEHAWU, SASCO, SADTU and YCL have all indicated that a strike may happen at four Universities in KZN next Monday.

Management at DUT has not been approached or served a formal notice by any of these organizations. DUT has a court interdict against student strikes and protest action and the university will enforce the court order if required.

DUT classes will continue as normal and we do not anticipate a disruption to the academic programme.
