Designing, processing, and testing of composite materials systems, reinforced thermosets/ thermoplastics, and nano-infused structures for aerospace, naval and automotive applications. Failure analysis include computational and analytical modeling. Characterization & Morphological analysis include Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM),Auger Electron Microscopy (AEM),Quantitative Microscopy (QM), and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS). Other interests include renewable energy solutions and demand side management (DSM).
