About this Programme:

This programme provides students with training to qualify as childcare professionals with children from 0 to 6 years of age while at the same time providing access to further training in this field.

 

Admission Requirements:

Grade 12.

 

Job opportunities

Once you have completed the programme, you will be qualified to teach 0 to 4 years of age. Be able to open and manage your own educare centre, or care for children in educare facilities and private homes.

 

Duration:
12 months.

 

Course Content:

 This programme will teach you how to:

  • Manage a learning programme;
  • Facilitate the active learning and healthy development of children from 0-6 years of age in early childhood development programmes.
