ND: Chiropractic (Foundation Programme)

The N.Dip, B.Tech and M.Tech will be awarded only on the successful completion of the M.Tech programme. This is in accordance with the requirements for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa.

All applications that meet the minimum admissions requirements to the Chiropractic Programme will be required to undergo a psychometric assessment as part of the selection procedure.

All applicants that complete the psychometric assessment will be required to attend an interview.

A committee appointed by the Department of Chiropractic and Somatology, comprising the staff members of the Chiropractic Programme, a representative of the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA), a representative of the Chiropractic Association of South Africa (CASA) and a student representative of the Chiropractic Programme, will be involved in interviewing the applicants.

From the interviewed pool of applicants, successful applicants will be informed of their selection for registration.

Persons applying must be over 17 years of age and in possession of a Senior Certificate or National Senior Certificate as per minimum requirements below:

Applicants will be ranked for placement in the Chiropractic Programme based on the outcome of their results in the Senior Certificate or National Senior Certificate, their interviews scores and assessment scores of assignments. For further details please go to the handbook above.
