Our online Directory of Experts promotes the Durban University of Technology’s (DUT) academics – expert in their fields and renowned for their research and academic achievements.
This Directory is a resource for the media to find staff within the University who have expertise in a particular area. We regularly feature our experts with the latest news on their research themes and a full profile of each of our experts, together with their areas of expertise and achievements. Full contact details of each expert is also given.
The areas of expertise can be found within the Subject A to Z which lists the names of teaching and research staff who have an interest and level of expertise in a particular area and are happy to work with the media with profiles, research and full contact details.
The Communications Team liaise regularly with members of the academic staff to continue to build on the Directory to provide a definitive list of research and innovation at the University. Inclusion in the directory is voluntary and is not a definitive list of research at the University.
We can also arrange interviews and visits to the University. If the Directory does not contain a listing for the subject in which you are interested in, please call us and we will try to find someone who can help.
If you would like any additional information which you cannot find or would like help with any enquiries please contact:
