The Durban University of Technology (DUT) Directory of Experts connects the media with academics and researchers who have expertise across a wide range of disciplines.

The directory provides journalists, media organisations and other stakeholders with access to DUT experts who can provide comment, insights and specialist knowledge on current issues, research developments and areas within their fields.

Each expert profile includes their areas of expertise, research interests, academic achievements and contact details.

Subject A to Z

The Subject A to Z provides a searchable list of DUT academics and researchers by area of expertise. It is designed to help members of the media quickly identify an appropriate expert for a particular topic or story.

Participation in the Directory of Experts is voluntary and the directory is not a complete list of all research and expertise at DUT.

The DUT Communications team works with academics and researchers across the University to regularly update and expand the directory, ensuring that it reflects the breadth of expertise, research and innovation taking place at DUT.

Media Enquiries

The Communications team can assist with arranging interviews, providing expert commentary and facilitating visits to the University.
