Lerato Matsaneng is a Director at FTI Consulting’s Strategic Communication office in Johannesburg.
She started her career as a journalist and worked for media groups such as Independent Newspapers, Times Media, Media24 and Caxton.
She briefly ran her own communications consulting business, Batlokwa Marketing Solutions, before moving to corporate.
While at Batlokwa Marketing Solutions, she consulted for clients such as Thebe Exhibitions and Projects, Mulekanyi Investments Holdings, as well as for international companies such as Face the Facts and Mahogany International.
Prior to joining FTI she was a Corporate Communications Specialist for Total South Africa.
Lerato is a Journalism graduate, 2007, from the Durban University of Technology. She has also completed Marketing Management & New Managers Programmes with the Wits Business School. She is currently completing the ICAS Programme in Strategic Management and Corporate Governance with Unisa.
She is a published author of a romance novel and is working on her second book.
