The Durban University of Technology is based in the city of Durban in in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.
Durban is 3rd largest city in South Africa and forms part of the eThekweni Metropolitan Municipality and has a population of approximately 3.5 million. The city is home to Africa’s largest and busiest port and is also an important centre for trade and industry. Durban was one of the host cities for the 2010 World Cup and hosts a number of international events.
Our cosmopolitan city is one of the most popular holiday destinations in South Africa due to the warm coastal waters and year-round great weather. It is also a gateway to the spectacular Drakensburg mountains and a number of game reserves.
