The Durban University of Technology (DUT) is gearing up to host the 2023 Spring Graduation Ceremonies at the Olive Convention Centre in Durban on Monday, 18 September 2023 and Tuesday, 19 September 2023.

A total of 864 students from the Durban and Midlands campuses will graduate, comprising of 428 males and 436 females. The graduation list consists of 717 students who will be obtaining their undergraduate qualifications whilst 147 will receive their postgraduate degrees. The graduation ceremonies will be held over two days, with each day having two sessions, the morning session will start at 10h00 and the afternoon session will start at 14h00.

The University will confer the degrees and award the diplomas, whilst recognising the achievements of all the graduates.

Starting the celebrations on Monday morning at 10h00 will be graduands from the Faculty of Applied Sciences, with the first cohort from the Faculty Management Sciences. In the second session at 14h00, graduands from the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment will dominate the graduation stage together with the second cohort of graduands from the Faculty of Management Sciences.

Celebrations on Day two will commence with the last cohort of graduands from the Faculty of Management Sciences. The closing ceremony will feature graduands from the three remaining faculties, Accounting and Informatics, Arts and Design and Health Sciences.
