“I associate most strongly with the DUT value of integrity. As a postgraduate student and library worker, I’ve learned the importance of being honest, ethical, and accountable in both academic and professional settings. Whether managing library resources or assisting users, I strive to act transparently and take responsibility for my actions. Integrity builds trust, which is essential in creating a supportive and respectful learning environment. Upholding this value also ensures that I contribute positively to DUT’s vision of being a people-centred and ethically grounded institution,” she explained.
Zondi aims to grow within the academic library environment and eventually take on a leadership role, such as a subject librarian or library manager. She is passionate about improving access to information and enhancing user experiences through innovative library services and technology.
