DUT LIBRARY SELECTS LIFE PULSE SURVEY WINNERS

The DUT Library conducted the Life Pulse Survey in 2025, which aimed to gather feedback from the DUT community about the library’s services, spaces, and resources. Three members of the DUT community were selected as random lucky winners of mobile tablets for participating in the survey. The handover of prizes took place on Friday, 6 June 2025, at the BM Patel Library, ML Sultan campus.

The Life Pulse Survey enables the library to collect valuable feedback from its users, benchmark its services globally, and identify areas for improvement. The lucky winners were randomly selected from participating DUT staff, undergraduate, and postgraduate students.

The winners were:

  • Mr Siyathemba Ndlovu, Second-year student: Department of Entrepreneurial Studies and Management
  • Ms Dawn Khuluse, PhD candidate: Department of Tourism Management
  • Dr Marilynne Coopasami-Pillay, Senior Lecturer: Department of Basic Medical Sciences

The Library Manager: Academic Services, Mr David Thomas, congratulated the winners and thanked them for participating in the survey competition. He also highlighted the importance of collecting feedback from users via tools such as the Life Pulse survey, allowing the library to better understand its users.

One of the winners, Ms Dawn Khuluse, said, “I’m so happy and grateful to be chosen as one of the winners. As a PhD candidate, I am looking forward to my new tablet and thank you to the library team for this opportunity”.
