Art for Humanity, a non-profit organisation based at the Durban University of Technology is hosting the “Giving Back to Somalia” Free Benefit Concert to launch a food donation programme. The programme is aimed at encouraging students to donate a can of tinned food each as part of the relief aid programme for Somalis who fell victim to the drought and famine that has gripped their country.
The donations will be taken to the Gift of the Givers office, who will transport the food to Somalia.

The concert will take place as follows:
Date: Friday, 21 October, 2011
Time: 12 – 3pm
Venue: DUT’s City Campus

Performances by Idol’s Leigh, Durban hip hop pioneer DJ 2 da Xha and various talented DUT performers will entertain students.
