In October, Walsingham Residence hosted a year-end function to recognise students who performed exceptionally well in academic excellence, leadership, spiritual growth and sports.

The aim was to thank students for participating in various programmes that were educational, expanded their knowledge and had a major impact in terms of spiritual growth.

Parents were invited to celebrate with students, this also gave them the opportunity to see how students live. Additionally, we wanted to project that residence life is not only about books, but also about building long –lasting relationships and learning to balance life, socially and academically.

We would like to acknowledge Student Housing’s Doc Nhassengo, Sithuthukile Mashabane and the Dean of Students, Amar Singh, as well as the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, Dr Kenneth Netshiombo for ensuring the success of the event.
