Microbiology lecturer and doctoral student at DUT, Nokuthula Mchunu has completed ground-breaking research in sequencing of a thermophilic genome.

Mchunu lectures undergraduates at DUT’s Department of Biotechnology and Food Technology and is currently completing her doctoral thesis at the University of Sains Malaysia’s (USM) Centre for Chemical Biology (CCB).
