BTech: Child and Youth Development

The minimum requirement for entry into the programme is a National Diploma: Child and Youth Development or equivalent. Learners may apply for selection into the BTech programme. Selection criteria include previous academic performance. RPL and conferment of status may also be considered as access into the BTech (Refer to rules G9 and G10).

The instructional programme for the Bachelor of Technology degree extends over one year full-time or two years part-time. Learners will be informed when they are in danger of losing their DP certificate in respect of attendance and work required.
