Congratulations to Dr Suresh Krishna, a dedicated and visionary Research Fellow at the Durban University of Technology (DUT), who has recently been honoured by Universities South Africa (USAF) for his exceptional contributions to mentorship and research development.

Dr Krishna specialises in Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, sustainable development, and health sciences. He has built an impressive research portfolio through numerous peer-reviewed publications and active engagement in academic networks that foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and leadership development.

At the heart of his work is his commitment to mentoring postgraduate students and emerging researchers. Dr Krishna provides structured guidance in research design, data analysis, and publication strategies, helping students strengthen their technical and analytical skills. He also supports them in navigating academic and professional pathways by identifying funding opportunities, facilitating networking, and offering strategic career advice.
