DUT STAFF SHARE THEIR EXCITING, FORTHCOMING GOALS FOR 2025

As  the new year begins, Durban University of Technology (DUT) staff are ready to tackle new challenges at the institution.  Sinamile Sithole and Phiwayinkosi Sibiya from the DUT Communications team spoke to staff about their dynamic, forthcoming academic  journey and their new projects for 2025.

Ronelle Lyson, DUT Alumni Relations Coordinator: “I’m excited to dive into new projects and initiatives that will strengthen our alumni community. I’m looking forward to collaborating with my colleagues and making a meaningful impact.”

Senzo Nzimande, a Student Housing and Res Life Unit, and Sport Administration unit: “In 2025, I aim to enhance our student housing experience and promote a culture of excellence in our residence community. I’m eager to work with our team to achieve this goal.”

Nqobile Sibisi, from Human Resources Management: “This year, I’m focused on developing innovative Human Resources solutions that support our staff and students. I’m excited to be back at work, connecting with my colleagues and driving positive change.”

Sinethemba Njoko, Gym Supervisor and Marketing Coordinator: “I’m looking forward to launching new fitness programmes and initiatives that promote student wellness. It’s going to be an exciting year, and I’m thrilled to be part of the DUT team.”

Andile Masuku, Student Development Officer: “In 2025, I’m committed to creating engaging student development programs that foster growth, leadership, and social responsibility. I’m eager to collaborate with our students and staff to make a lasting impact.”
