At the beginning of this year (January), Professor Rishi Balkaran, the Executive Dean of Management Sciences, in collaboration with the Department of Public Relations Management established a Student Information Centre which is aimed at providing both students and visitors with useful and relevant information regarding DUT.

The centre is located at ML Sultan Campus on the ground floor and is managed by two Public Relations interns who are also DUT students.

The Student Information Centre was borne out of the fact that on the ML Sultan Campus, there was a lack of a “friendly face” to receive visitors and assist students with general information about DUT and more specifically, the ML Sultan Campus and its various operations. There are quite a number of.  Some of the services offered at the Centre which are intended to make the lives of students and the visitors easier and more convenient include:

– Directing visitors/students to the various departments that they wish to visit.

– Issuing CAO forms with study opportunities pamphlets.

– Handling enquiries from visitors regarding the University.

The Centre’s operating hours are from Monday to Thursday from 08h00 to 15h30. On Friday, the Centre opens at 08h00 and closes at 15h00.
