The Going Green Conferences (GGCs) 2017 is hosted by the Public Works in conjunction with the Energy Technology Station and the Physics Department of the DUT and aims to bring together building design professionals, namely architects, engineers, researchers, and other building professionals to exchange knowledge on improving green design processes and energy efficiency within the built environment.
Now its fifth year the conference is widely regarded as one of the leading training & development platforms for built environment professionals in South Africa. The 2017 Going Green in Public Facilities Conference (GGC2017) will provide an open platform for researchers, emerging young professionals and industry specialists to exchange technical knowledge with public sector professionals working in building services and maintenance of public facilities.
The 13th September 2017 component of the conference is aimed at students and young emerging professionals having Green Innovative Solutions and takes place at Coastlands on the Ridge and is free for students.
