South Africa has one of the highest rates of rape and gender based violence in the world! The recent increase of the spate of violent crimes against women and children is quite disconcerting. Women are feeling unsafe in their homes, places of work, institutions of learning, in the community and the list goes on.
Enough is enough! I am not next! My body- not your crime scene!
Join the Gender Forum in a peaceful placard demonstration as we show our solidarity with the survivors and families of the victims of these violent crimes. Let our voices be heard as we call for a safe and peaceful society and for justice to prevail!
