Gearing Up for WoW

Gearing Up for WoW

In raising awareness to the upcoming annual Durban University of Technology World of Work (WoW) hosted by the University’s Co-Operative Education Department, a series of roadshows throughout all seven campuses took place.

These roadshows began from Monday (29 July 2019) and will end today (Friday, 02 August 2019). WoW is an annual event that is held for both DUT students and Industry stakeholders. Different stakeholders from various industries exhibit during the two WoW days.

“The main objective for this Drive is to inform students that DUT’s Co-Operative Education exists which is the department that gives rise to the career opportunities, job placements, bursaries and internships,” said Dupio Mooi, Marketing intern at Co-Operative Education.

She further added that the department is hoping that more students will visit their offices on a regular basis. The 2019 WoW will take place from Wednesday,14 August to Thursday, 15 August 2019, at the Ritson Campus Parking.

Students are urged to be part of the upcoming World of Work Career Exhibition in order to access valuable career information.
