GOSPEL STAR, SGWILI ZUMA ATTENDS THE DUT GRADUATION

The gospel star, Sgwili Zuma was among the guests who attended the Durban University of Technology Celebratory Autumn Graduation ceremony at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Durban International Convention Centre, on Tuesday, 19 July 2022.

He came to show his support and to congratulate his sister-in-law, Nosipho Chiliza who graduated for her National Diploma in Management Sciences: Human Resource Management.

Chiliza who is from KwaHlongwa eMzumbe, KwaZulu-Natal South Coast is currently pursuing her Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management. She expressed her gratitude to her elder sister, Thandeka Chiliza-Zuma and her brother-in-law, Sgwili Zuma for their love and support.

“I am very lucky to have both of them in my life. I am grateful for all that they have done for me ever since I was a child. We have been through a lot, and they had made alot of sacrifices to ensure that I have a better future. I plan to continue making them proud,” said Chiliza.

Speaking about her experience on stage, Chiliza said she was very nervous, however, she enjoyed her moment. In addition, she said she is looking forward to graduating for her Advanced Diploma in 2023.

Zuma who was very excited to see his sister-in-law walk the graduation stage and said they are very proud of her.

“We wish her all the best in life. She knows how far she has come and she must continue working hard. She grew up staying with us, she was like our own baby. We have been through a lot since her childhood, so this is a happy moment for us. I had to be here to witness her graduating. Her future is in her hands. She knows her background and the suffering. Education is her only way to a better life,” said Zuma.

Chiliza’s sister, Thandeka Chiliza-Zuma had to be a mother to her sister from the age of 12 after their mother passed away.

“I do not believe how grown she is. I used to carry her on my back. She has made us proud. We want her to continue studying and have a better future. She must continue shinning,” she said.
