He shared that his ambitions for the SRC is to see them as the council advocating for ENVISION2030 living values while ensuring that no student is left behind and making sure that the system is operating in a productive way for students.

Mncube further explained that challenges he currently faces which is balancing his academics and his SRC duties as they come with loads of work.  However, he is grateful that there was the appointment of an SRC subcommittee to ease the burden of his workload.

As the SRC Deputy Secretary General, Mncube is advocating for change. “I am striving for the involvement of students that are living with disabilities in every sphere in our institution so that their voice will be heard, and they be part of every decision-making board,” he said.

In terms of his academics, he is committed and determined to obtain the best results and continue with his studies to become a successful, adaptive graduate, swiftly moving with a fruitful, academic record to the working field.
