PGA Prepares for 2nd Annual Research Conference

The Post-Graduate Association at the Durban University of Technology is gearing up for its second annual Interdisciplinary Research, Innovation and Postgraduate Conference 2017.

“The conference invites all postgraduates from DUT and other institutions to take part in this exciting and innovative conference,” said Kunle Oparinde, DUT PGA President.

Focusing on “Enhancing Multidisciplinary Research in Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Emerging Researchers”, the conference will be held from Tuesday, 13 June 2017 to Thursday, 15 June 2017 at the DUT Hotel School Conference Centre.

During the conference inception in 2016, it was well received and was attended by researchers, postgraduate students and academics from across Africa. Gathered to share ideas with a vision to build human capacity, the 2016 conference focused on science, technology and research.

“This conference creates a platform for engagement and gives an opportunity to participants to share in generating new applicable knowledge and ideas and build new networks and partnerships,” said Professor Sibusiso Moyo, DUT Research and Postgraduate Support Directorate Director.

For more information on the conference as well as guidelines on how to submit your abstract, please visit https://www.dut.ac.za/postgradcon/. Twenty-five (25) best peer-reviewed full papers will be published in an accredited DHET Journal as a special issue.
