Leadership Training Consultant to motivate DUT staff on Secretaries Day

Durban Leadership Training Consultant, Anand Jithoo, will motivate secretaries at the Durban University of Technology as part of their National Secretaries Day on 2 September 2009. This will take place at DUT’s Hotel School at 9h00.

AJ, as he is affectionately known in the industry, challenges your mind with fresh new ideas. He has been acclaimed at workshops, seminars and conferences around the country for his anecdotal experience that will touch and change your life. His message is inspirational for individuals and groups, not only in its sheer impact, but also for its life’s lessons.

DUT secretaries will benefit from his mission which is dedicated to making a difference and adding value to the lives of people globally. His strength lies on motivating and inspiring people worldwide from various cultural backgrounds, by using his personal experience and knowledge so that they may realise their aspirations by contributing to a more fulfilling and rewarding life.

AJ is a former lecturer at ML Sultan Technikon, Teacher Training Division and a Manager with 25 years of experience in the Life Assurance Industry. He chaired the Life Underwriters Association of South Africa (KZN region) for 4 years. He has extensive experience in Sales as well as in Training and Development of Sales personnel and management.

He attended Wits Business School of Management and holds numerous Diplomas in business, motivation, skills and management. He is a leadership developer and fire-walk specialist. He has mentored numerous sales executives and business associates to success.

He is presently visiting schools in KZN pursuing leadership and development workshops fort educators and learners. He is also involved in corporate training and development.

He played provincial cricket, tennis and badminton.
