The Durban University of Technology’s HIV/AIDS Centre will be hosting its 5th annual Silent Protest march on the 21st of August 2019.
The aim of the march is to raise awareness and show solidarity with survivors of gender-based violence. This is particularly important considering the recent rise in violence directed at women and girls in South Africa. The silent protest is an event which includes a march and demonstrations which are aimed at creating visibility.
Venue: Ritson Parking lot. Time: 09:00 AM
