The First things First Campaign
The first things first campaign kicked off across all DUT campuses from Durban to Pietermaritzburg, encouraging students to get tested for HIV/AIDS. The campaign opened up at the City campus to good reception. The message promoted was it is better to know your HIV status than not knowing. ‘First things First’ is an annual campaign aimed at making an impact and changing the lives of students. Students came in numbers to get tested, and subsequently gave positive feedback.
