Counselling for students is primarily based at the Steve Biko Campus, lower library complex. Students can contact our receptionist to book (031-373-2266) or come into our centre to book an appointment.
Should you feel you need to obtain counselling please email counsbookingdbn@dut.ac.za or counsbookingpmb@dut.ac.za between Monday and Thursday 8am to 16.30 pm and Friday until 15.00pm. The student needs to provide the following information: Name and surname, student number, in-person counselling or online counselling and campus they wish to be seen on (Steve Biko, City and ML Sultan).
Should a student present as an emergency i.e. pose as a suicidal risk to self and others, the student can come through to the following offices in person during official university hours.

DURBAN
Steve Biko Campus: located next to financial aid, lower library complex. Monday to Friday 8am to 16.30pm/15:00pm.
ML Sultan Campus: ground floor next to the Procurement office (Tuesday and Thursday) bookings only. *for emergencies please call us and we will arrange assistance.
City Campus: C block, first floor, room 119 (Monday and Wednesday) bookings only. *for emergencies please call us and we will arrange assistance.
