UPDATE ON DISCUSSIONS WITH DUT SRC

We have had another very positive meeting with our SRC this afternoon.

I am pleased to confirm that we have reached agreement with our SRC on a number of issues that they had placed on the table.

The SRC will now call a mass meeting to notify the student body about the resolutions. This meeting will happen on Tuesday morning, 4 October 2016. The University will then make an announcement about the way forward regarding the academic programme and the tests and exam schedule for the rest of this year.

Once again, please note that we will now only be posting updates and official DUT statements on our website. We will email alert messages to you whenever a new statement is published on www.dut.ac.za so that you can view the latest communique. Therefore, the only place where you will see official DUT statements will be on the DUT website.
