Born in Mabopane, North of Pretoria and grew up in Soshanguve up until he finished school, Daviola moved to Durban in 2003 to study interior design of which he completed his Diploma at Durban University of Technology in 2007. His music career kicked off in 2008 has been freelancing as a dj playing in different clubs around Durban.
2013 saw Daviola landing his own radio show on local radio station Inanda 88.4 fm. When not performing, he spends his time searching on latest music trends and creating fresh ideas for his radio show… aided by over a decade in entertainment and an upbringing in a very musically-influenced home. Having spent many years playing at all of the major local night clubs (alongside local hard-hitters and national acts alike), holding multiple residencies, DJing special events and promoting his own shows, Daviola has had a lot of time to develop his sound. For him, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date. Don’t be surprised when you suddenly find yourself dancing.
