Bio: After receiving my PhD on characterizing bio-pulping fungi, I spent 3 years at the Forest Products Laboratory in Madison, WI, USA. On returning to South Africa I joined the Pulp and Paper Industry for 8 years in innovation, research and technology transfer capacity. I then joined the Pulp and Paper Program at the DUT.
