Bio: Mrs Felicia O. Afolabi received the Bachelor of Technology, BTech, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Nigeria; Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, University of Lagos, Nigeria; and currently completing the Doctor of Engineering degree (DEng) in Chemical Engineering, Durban University of Technology, Durban, South Africa. Her research focus is on water and wastewater treatment, the use of green technology for water treatment to enhance environmental sustainability. This research work has received awards including Best Paper Award at International Conference on Green Technologies for Sustainable Development (GTSD 2021) and Best Oral Award at the 11th Annual SAIChE KZN Research Day (2019). Felicia Afolabi has mentored and graduated one BTech student. She is the author/co- author of 10 accredited journal articles, peer-reviewed conference proceedings and book chapters.
