Bio: Dr. Olarewaju is a Senior Lecturer and Acting Head of Department (Management Accounting) at the Durban University of Technology, South Africa. She obtained her first and second degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria with cum laude and she obtained her PhD in Accounting from University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.She has held faculty positions in colleges in South Africa and University in Nigeria before relocating to South Africa. As an accomplished researcher with several articles published in DHET accredited peer-reviewed journals to her credit, she is a Board Member and Ed. She is a freelance training facilitator at SASH Business Management for training and consulting, Durban, South Africa (http://sashbm.com/#facilitators).

She has also presented academic papers at accredited international conferences in United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa, Nigeria and United Arab Emirate amongst many others.   • Best full paper presented at Southern African Accounting Association (SAAA), KwaZulu-Natal Regional Teaching and Learning Conference, Riverside Hotel, Durban, South Africa. June 29th
  • Best Graduating Female Accounting Student, 2009/2010 Session, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria by Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN). March, 2011.

Dr. Olarewaju has mentored many masters and honours degree students to successful graduation and still has several masters and doctoral students in Accounting and Finance under her supervision. Dr. Olarewaju is an Accounting Technician and a Chartered Accountant under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Business Accountant in Practice under the Southern African Institute of Business Accountants (BAP(SA), an Associate Chartered Management Accountants (ACMA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

An Editorial Board member for International Journal of Business and Economics Research (IJBER), reviewer to nine accredited Journals, reviewer to many local and international conferences and post-graduate examiner for various universities in South Africa and Namibia.
