PICCCCThe new peacebuilding masters and PhD students arrived in Durban early in 2020 and began on-campus classes. Students came from Kenya, Zimbabwe, Burundi, DRC, South Africa, Liberia, Malawi, Tanzania and Zambia. Halfway through the session, the Covid-19 virus became widespread resulting in lockdown. Classes continued online and in spite of the challenges, the students have all made excellent progress in their studies.

The Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof Fulufhelo Netswera spoke to the group and encouraged them to persevere, stressing that their contributions towards peaceful societies are vital.
