Dr Thakur1 Dr. Surendra Colin Thakur
Director of the NEMISA KZN e-Skills CoLab, Director of the Enterprise Developemnt Unit and Centre for Continuing & Professional EducationDr. Thakur is the Digitalization chair, BankSeta chair and supervises over 8 Postgrad students. He is a digital activist, newspaper columnist and authored journal articles, delivered several keynote addresses, who also conducts research focusing on e-voting; as Artificial intelligence, block chain technology, regulatory technology, data mining and Internet of Things, and social media Dr. Thakur is a great football fan that supports Pirates Manchester United team.

Mo1 Mogandren Govender
Project Manager of KZN e-Skills CoLabMogandren is formerly from Ladysmith, a small-town North of Kwa-Zulu Natal. He graduated with Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Psychology, and Education & Development; an Honours in Psychology; and a Master’s in Education: Education and Development from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Mogandren has worked at Durban University of Technology for the past 5 years as a Project manager and Project coordinator. Mogandren is passionate about education, and he feels that education is the panacea to resolve all social ills. Mogandren enjoys a good cup of tea and confectionary to go with it.

Cheralyn1 Cheralyn Terblanche
Operations Manager Cheralyn has been with the KZN eskills Colab since April 2017. Cheralyn has lived in Durban all her life and studied at the University of KwaZulu-Natal where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Higher Diploma in Education. She is passionate about education and has worked in higher education for more than 20 years. She believes education can assist in moving South Africa forward. Her favourite place to visit in KwaZulu is the Drakensberg and getting away to the mountains revitalises her and gives her the energy to continue in the challenging yet rewarding field of education management.

Anelita1 Anelitha Kuhle Njili
Programme Coordinator and Executive Assistant Born and raised in the Eastern Cape uMthatha. Anelitha obtained her National Diploma PR at the Durban University of Technology. Currently a programme coordinator and Executive assistant to the Director at the Enterprise Development Unit (DUT). Anelitha joined the EDU family on the 1st of March 2017 and have organised Graduations, Seminars, Conference, Team building with 100+ delegates. She is a public speaker and a master of ceremonies. In her spare time Anelitha is a self-taught make-up artist.

Yaseen1 Yaseen Khan
Research Assistant at the Enterprise Development Unit (EDU)Yaseen currently holds degrees in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from the University of KwaZulu Natal (UKZN). He has been with eSkills CoLab for 3 years.
Yaseen is a problem solver and a very curious person. In his leisure time he does sports.

Mbali1 Thembelihle Mbali Sibisi
Assistant Project Manager at Enterprise Development Unit (EDU)Mbali was born in KZN province and studied at Coastal College. She has been with EDU for 4 years. She enjoys pampering herself in a spa and is a passionate traveller.

Rejoice1 Rejoice Khena
Office Administrative Assistant at Enterprise Development Unit (EDU)Rejoice has been with EDU for XY years.
She is passionate about cooking and is a fan of the football club called Pirates.

Sudhika Palhad Sudhika Palhad
Project and Research Coordinator at Enterprise Development Unit (EDU)She is most well-known for managing the Public Participation Training Programme (PPTP) in partnership with Ethekwini Municipality for municipal employees. Prior to working on the project, she served as an NRF Research Intern at EDU.Sudhika graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in International Relations. She also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Media from UKZN. Sudhika has a research interest in skills development for the 4th industrial revolution; Public Participation and international affairs.Sudhika is a true foodie at heart and loves to cook and eat. When she isn’t busy managing the BankSeta Research Project and the PPTP project, Sudhika ensures that the EDU team always eats lunch timeously!Spending quality time with her family (especially with her son) and a good day of shopping therapy helps her to de-stress.Sudhika would like to continue to place DUT on the map in the local government sector by managing skills programmes for government employees. She also has a keen interest in continuing her research and obtaining her PhD.
