Bio: Prof Sammy Lewis Kiambi is an Associate Professor in Chemical Engineering. He is an accomplished academic and researcher with local and international experience spanning over 23 years. Prof. Kiambi as served as head of department in Moi University Kenya for a period of 6 years after spending most of adult life in French academic institutions. He has served in various academic positions in Moi university Kenya, Paul Sabatier, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Ingenieurs at Technologiques Chimiques (both in France) and UKZN before joining Durban University of Technology.Prof Kiambi is a specialist in renewable energy and waste water treatment having written a lot of peer reviewed journals papers, conferences and graduated numerous post graduate students in these areas. He an editor and reviewer of several international journals. He has been involved curriculum development at all institutions of higher learning he has served. Prof Kiambi is a lead researcher in the research focus area: Green Engineering and Process Sustainability .
