Bio: Ms Sindisiwe Cindy Malanda is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Power Engineering, Durban University of Technology. She received the Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering, Mangosuthu University of Technology; Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BTech) and Masters of Engineering (MEng) degree, Durban University of Technology. Her research interest is in the area of Power Electronics, Converters, HVdc power transmission and Electric Vehicles. She is a registered Candidate Technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa. She has been accepted as a Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Student at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT), to undertake Doctoral studies. . Qualification & Institution: Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering, Mangosuthu University of Technology; Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BTech) and Masters of Engineering (MEng) degree, Durban University of Technology. .
