BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Nkosingiphile Mtshali is an alumnus of the prestigious University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, graduated in 2015. Defiling the odds against him and claiming victory, he became the first person to attend and finish university in his entire bloodline and second person to graduate from university in his community.

Nkosingiphile joined the Durban University of Technology as a Writing Centre Tutor in 2018 until 2021, after having gained industry experience through entities such as Sanlam, Human Science Research Council and other TVET-Colleges as research administrator, financial administrator and facilitator of funds related processes. He continues to expand his academic portfolio as he is registered for an Honours degree in Transport Economics and hopes to go as far as a Doctoral qualification in the near future. Since joining the CELT family in May of 2022 he has been responsible for providing administrative support towards the implementation of UCDP incumbent and support to the unit and faculties, liaising with CELT, internal and external stakeholders and assuring that related confidential information is treated as such. He hopes to contribute in the academic and financial development of disadvantaged townships and rural areas in and around Durban and South Africa as a whole in future.
